GOOD: - Central location within walking distance of everything - Efficient and friendly service - Clean and spacious rooms - Good shower - Comfortable beds NOT SO GOOD: - VERY noisy from the street at night (try to get a room as high as possible and away from the street) - Breakfast menu very restricted, and really not great - Breakfast service very inconsistent - Large bathroom has empty walls with no shelf or surface, so toilet bags, makeup etc have to go on the floor! - Large bedroom has masses of empty space and RIDICULOUSLY inadequate hanging area for clothes All in all it's a decent, functional city centre hotel for very short stays, but really not for longer than a couple of nights.

Nearly 10 yrs ago I stayed here and it left a lasting impression so when I was looking to come to the Dam again I really couldn’t see past this hotel. Hotel V didn’t disappoint💕. Reception staff JP was lovely very helpful and showed a real interest in our stay. Bat & restaurant lovely nice sitting areas away from the hustle & bustle of the dam. Honestly it’s a gem you would know it was there. I booked a superior room, 203 to be exact, boujee miniminlist, from branded towelling robes & slippers to great coffee & coffee machine. Bed & bed linen lovely too, and I am picky. Would i recommend YES, would I go again YES.

Great location, super convenience just in the Center, next to shopping street and just 5mins walk to De Bijenkorf. 2-3mins to Rokin metro station, tram station are just next to metro station too. I book Hotel V Nesplein because I have lived another hotel from hotel V previously ( some travelling time from City Center ) which I loved there so much so I would love to try other V hotels for my return to AMS. Of coz the room size is not very big given it is in city Center, the room is still nice design and comfortable too. Just the warmer in bathroom seems not working very well as didn’t really can feel the warm from it. The restaurant in hotel V is great too, nice vibes, good food and wine.
