The property was awful. It was low season, no one was there and the area was shabby and grossly misrepresented. There was only one person working there who was rude and threatening. We struggled to find it because it is badly signed and there are more than 100 steps to the hotel from the parking lot and no one to help

Great location, great view, very friendly family managed place to stay close to Amalfi. Nice breakfast and valuable parking. Would definitely go back there another time. You need to be a little fit as from the parking you need to clime 134 steps before you reach to top location. They have a lift for the luggage!!

It was very nice. It had lots of big rooms with comfy beds and spots to put your luggage and extra items. It was also very fancy, with fancy bedspreads and paintings. Amalfi was very beautiful, with very beautiful and clean oceans and lots of shops to explore and restaurants that served good food. But it was also very hot during our visit, but, luckily for us, the villa was equipped with a very nice and refreshing private pool, which we enjoyed very much. The Villa also has a restaurant that is less than five minutes away from the Vila, which is convenient if you would like to have a meal that is not far away from where you are. Alessio has been wonderful in helping us organise transport, restaurant bookings. My son was out of action for a few days and he helped bring food to him. There was a cleaner everyday and it was spotless. We were just so well taken care of.

I wish I could rate Villa Alba D’Oro higher than 5 stars. Even before we arrived, Alessio was extremely helpful in planning our arrival to Amalfi - very responsive and informative via email. When we arrived we were greeted with warmth and smiles from both him and Martina. Our room was stunning with an enormous terrace and perfect suite. Martina and staff brought us breakfast every morning and provided bus tickets when needed. Any question we asked they were there to help us. Everyone was just lovely and kind. Villa Alba D’Oro is an absolute gem. We will be back!

We are on a tour of the area, staying in 6 different hotel - this one was the best so far (and the standard has been pretty high). To be clear, this hotel is not in Almalfi, but a few miles out and is definitely not for anyone with limited mobility - those steps are gruelling, but so worth it! Our suite was absolutely beautiful, with an amazing terrace. The staff were absolutely wonderful and really couldn’t do enough for us. Breakfast on the terrace was wonderful. The location of this hotel is perfect if, like me, you like peace and beautiful views. We will definitely be back, and this time to stay for longer. Massive thanks to the family who run this place.

Our family of 8 stayed here and we had an AMAZING time!! Alessio and all the staff were so helpful. The Villa is a great layout and allows space for everyone. The terrace with the pool was such an enjoyable place to eat and relax. Would HIGHLY recommend for a large group. There are a lot of stairs to get to the Villa but you feel like you've earned your pasta, pizza and wine 🍷

This hotel appealed to us for our trip to the Amalfi Coast in August. I consequently booked a room however accidentally did it for this evening rather than the date I wanted in August. I immediately called and messaged the property asking if they could change the date and advised I am happy to pay more due to it being in peak season however the gentleman who answered the phone said this would not be possible and my options were to either stay this evening or find another person to take our place. We are in the UK so this would not be possible. He was very rude over the telephone. I consequently submitted a date change request which was immediately declined. Bearing in mind I spoke to them within 10 minutes of booking the incorrect date, I find this very unfair that they would not look to move our booking. Please take care as their customer service skills need work and they are now keeping our money, despite us letting them know our mistake within minutes of accidentally booking. Not impressed at all, please approach with caution should you look to stay at this property.
