Venosa Beach Resort & Spa - All Inclusive

Three star hotel at best! So disappointed with this hotel as the photos looked gorgeous when we booked The lift was filthy covered in grease and holes in the wall. The corridors had dirty cups and plates stacked and threadbare carpets. Very tired and definitely needs updating. Bedroom- Entered the room to find toilet buttons hanging off the wall and mould in the shower. Two hand towels folded on the rack and no bath towels. Then confronted by two very small sad single beds. Not at all what I expected from a luxury hotel. No robes, cheap toiletries. The walls were paper thin and it often felt like we were sharing the room with the family next door. We could hear every word of their conversations. Cleaning was minimal throughout stay, the sink in the bathroom had the same dirty cup ring throughout our stay and the shower was never cleaned. We had to call for towels everyday. Food- Same offering everyday from buffet and snack bar. Bad fly problem and lukewarm food. The al a carte offering looked very depressing and restaurants were situated along a very dark corridor off the lobby. Never seen that before. Normally they look like actual restaurants but these looked like conference rooms. Staff- The staff were really lovely and couldn’t do enough for you … especially waiters (yusuf and Hugo) in the restaurant and animation staff. Pool - Loads of sunloungers but most of them were in the shade. Really dirty cushions. Pool freezing Beach - Lovely calm beach, loads of loungers, shallow sea. Perfect for kids

This hotel is so lovely I loved the animation team they are all so lovely and I love watching the shows as well because they are brilliant and the beds are nice to sleep in too and also they have massive water slides and they are wicked for children and adults.

I’ve been many times before and feel at home as soon as I arrive, very safe for a solo traveller. Feridan in the outside dining area is great, always remembers my favourite drinks, works really hard. Food had plenty of choice, and was a roast meat on every evening, the bean stew was delicious. The music after the show was very loud, I appreciate that people want to enjoy drinking, but maybe have it at the beach bar which is further away from the hotel rooms, instead of the pool bar. Not as many British there as usual One of the entertainment team was so rude, she would just come to the table and interrupt the conversation without waiting to be acknowledged to tell us about the show that night. Then when told weren’t going, she kept calling one lady baby’. Very irritating.

At the price this hotel was good value. Some nice touches such as ice cream cones and the coffee shop. The coffee shop was an especially nice addition. I talked with customer relations after night 2 about the soft mattress and was informed they would all be changed at the end of the season. I spoke to reception our mattress was replaced within the hour with a firmer one. All beds in this hotel need upgrading, they have not appreciated the value of a good nights sleep on hols. Overall the food was ok, they need to work on keeping dishes hotter longer. Less stacking and more cook to order stations. The service at the tables was good. We found the maid service good. This hotel with the addition of the water slides is better suited to family’s. The pool bar competes with the next door hotel over who’s can play crap music loudest. Overkill with the speakers everything is blasted to all areas, take your headphones. I used the gym once and it was fairly well equipped but in dire need of a good scrub. Sunbed hygiene was shocking. My main bugbear was the beach and other public areas littered with ciggy butts, everywhere in the hotel suffers from the blight of the butts but at the beach is where it worse. I again had a chat with customer services about the issue and was fobbed off. It would cost peanuts to remedy but they can’t be arsed until the end of the season. It’s still the best hotel in Altinkum but the bars not been set very high. The whole town is a giant ash tray. With a good scrub and clean up I’d give a 4.

Entertainment team were excellent involving everyone poolside and staff at the restaurant were very attentive and making sure drinks were topped up activities coordinator miss Bell was fantastic at making sure everyone was involved in games poolside, rooms were clean and nicely decorated and cleaned everyday and drinks topped up in the room each day food was good in the restaurant there was a lot to choose from so weren't stuck for choice hot and fresh and regularly changed or topped up no complaints will come back again and the weather is fantastic

First time in Turkey, Venosa Beach has certainly been an amazing experience. The rooms we're perfect for 2x adults. The food was what was expectedly from an all inclusive resort, plenty of choice and well presented and cooked. The poolside was perfect, although sun loungers could do with some tlc. The best part of lounging by the pool was the activities offered by the amazing poolside staff. Big shout out to Bella, along with her colleagues for providing some top class entertainment.
