Venosa Beach Resort & Spa - All Inclusive

I’ve been many times before and feel at home as soon as I arrive, very safe for a solo traveller. Feridan in the outside dining area is great, always remembers my favourite drinks, works really hard. Food had plenty of choice, and was a roast meat on every evening, the bean stew was delicious. The music after the show was very loud, I appreciate that people want to enjoy drinking, but maybe have it at the beach bar which is further away from the hotel rooms, instead of the pool bar. Not as many British there as usual One of the entertainment team was so rude, she would just come to the table and interrupt the conversation without waiting to be acknowledged to tell us about the show that night. Then when told weren’t going, she kept calling one lady baby’. Very irritating.

At the price this hotel was good value. Some nice touches such as ice cream cones and the coffee shop. The coffee shop was an especially nice addition. I talked with customer relations after night 2 about the soft mattress and was informed they would all be changed at the end of the season. I spoke to reception our mattress was replaced within the hour with a firmer one. All beds in this hotel need upgrading, they have not appreciated the value of a good nights sleep on hols. Overall the food was ok, they need to work on keeping dishes hotter longer. Less stacking and more cook to order stations. The service at the tables was good. We found the maid service good. This hotel with the addition of the water slides is better suited to family’s. The pool bar competes with the next door hotel over who’s can play crap music loudest. Overkill with the speakers everything is blasted to all areas, take your headphones. I used the gym once and it was fairly well equipped but in dire need of a good scrub. Sunbed hygiene was shocking. My main bugbear was the beach and other public areas littered with ciggy butts, everywhere in the hotel suffers from the blight of the butts but at the beach is where it worse. I again had a chat with customer services about the issue and was fobbed off. It would cost peanuts to remedy but they can’t be arsed until the end of the season. It’s still the best hotel in Altinkum but the bars not been set very high. The whole town is a giant ash tray. With a good scrub and clean up I’d give a 4.

Entertainment team were excellent involving everyone poolside and staff at the restaurant were very attentive and making sure drinks were topped up activities coordinator miss Bell was fantastic at making sure everyone was involved in games poolside, rooms were clean and nicely decorated and cleaned everyday and drinks topped up in the room each day food was good in the restaurant there was a lot to choose from so weren't stuck for choice hot and fresh and regularly changed or topped up no complaints will come back again and the weather is fantastic

First time in Turkey, Venosa Beach has certainly been an amazing experience. The rooms we're perfect for 2x adults. The food was what was expectedly from an all inclusive resort, plenty of choice and well presented and cooked. The poolside was perfect, although sun loungers could do with some tlc. The best part of lounging by the pool was the activities offered by the amazing poolside staff. Big shout out to Bella, along with her colleagues for providing some top class entertainment. Its my first time here and this is the best holiday i have been on. All of the stuff are so helpful and fun. Also there are so many things to do in the hotel and in the town near by. I would definitely come back and seriously dont believe the bad reviews

We have just returned from Venosa Beach. A family of 3 ( 1 x adult and 2 teens 14 & 16). We enjoyed our stay and here are the pros and cons: Reception/Arrival: Very efficient check in on arrival and concierge helped with the baggage however no information given about meal times/map of the facilities/WiFi etc. The staff don't speak very good English so trying to explain anything is quite tricky. I even got a sigh from one of the receptionists and passed to a colleague because she didn't understand me. Rooms: Cleaned every day. Suitable. Not amazing but not bad. Yes beds are a little hard but most are. Air conditioning worked well. Small balcony with furniture and a clothes drying rack. Soft drinks (cans of coke and Fanta, Large bottle of still water and 2 small bottles of sparkling replenished every day. Towels replaced every day. We had a twin room with a sofa bed. Some sockets didn't work but the electrician came up and sorted those quite efficiently once reception understood what I was asking. If you leave aircon on overnight you might want to ask for extra blankets. Shops: There is a small "grocery" shop that stocks all sorts including gifts etc as well as a clothing, jewellery and tattooist all in the main lobby of the hotel. There is also a doctor and Spa available. Pool: Can't fault the outdoor facilities at all.. The pools, Waterpark etc are all brilliant. You get pool towels which you can replace throughout the day (by late afternoon they run out) and then get new ones the next day. The slides are very fast but great fun. Generally there were no queues the whole time. The Waterpark is open 10-12am and 2-5pm and it is closed off so you can't access it outside of those times. There are a few sunbeds around the children's splash pool. If you want a particular area or sunbed you will need to consider putting towels on beds by 6-6.30am but if you aren't fussed you can still get beds up to about 8am (at a push) There is the main pool which is huge and the same depth the whole way 145cm. There is a toddler pool and a smaller pool with slides for younger kids in addition to the Waterpark which has 7 slides and a big splash park. Bars: None are self serve (other than water) but they are very efficient at serving you and rarely long queues. The 2 main bars have fridges with water bottles which are self serve but the snack bar isn't. Food at the snack bar is great, freshly cooked pizzas and burgers, chips, salads, pasta etc all being freshly made and topped up. Snack bar is open 12-5 and ice creams and waffles are also available from that bar. All drinks are served from the outdoor bar in paperclips but they are a decent size so fit for purpose. The lobby bar and pattiserie inside the hotel are both lovely. The pattiserie serves lovely coffee and cakes etc throughout the day. Restaurant: Huge selection of food but repetitive.
