Galtenberg Family & Wellness Resort

We have just returned from a week stay at the Galtenberg. Having researched in advance, we expected it to be good, but it surpassed all expectations!! Set in Inneralpbach at the top of valley between the mountains, it is the perfect destination to relax. So peaceful with lovely fresh mountain air. The huge range of entertainment for children is impressive, and our 9 year old daughter loved every minute. The staff in the kids club (open daily until 9pm) are great with the children such that they always want to go back for more. They are also very flexible, you can drop off the kids whenever you want and they’ll ensure they have a great time!! Another excellent feature is how the hotel treats children (even the little ones) like mini adults, on arrival they receive a wrist band (which also acts as a room key), they have access to a family spa area (allowing them to experience a sauna and steam room at suitable temperature), and they can also have a half-portion of the adult main dish if they wish. The food is also great. Not only do they offer a wide range of dishes (to suit children and adults), but the meal slots are very long, with breakfast served 07:00 - 10:30, lunch 13:30 - 16:30 and dinner 18:30 - 21:00. All of this means you can relax without feeling you need to get to the dining room at a set time. Further, if you do plan a whole day out, the hotel will provide a packed lunch instead. The robot waiters in the restaurant add a further sense of fun for the kids, as do unique additions on different evenings that ranged from 2 chocolate fountains, Popcorn machine, Waffle maker. The lunchtime doughnut wall is pretty impressive too!! Our daughter also particularly loved mixing her own smoothies at breakfast time. The Alpbachtal card also offers great value. In addition to the huge range on offer by the hotel itself, you can use the bus service down the valley (hourly service), access 4 cable cars and the Lauserland play area that tops the nearest mountain, all at no extra charge. All of the staff were so kind and helpful. Our waitress for the week (Bogi) even came across to say goodbye and wish us a safe trip home when her shift ended on the last evening. It’s these little touches that mean a lot. We will definitely be returning. Ps. The leaving surprise is a fabulous touch. Well done to the team on making a great holiday experience.

We spent a week at this hotel over the Christmas holidays, and it was absolutely fantastic. The room was spacious, spotless, and comfortable. The staff's hospitality was exceptional, making us feel right at home throughout our stay. The food was delicious, offering a great variety of options. This hotel is very kid-friendly, with a fantastic holiday kids' club packed with fun activities. The ski school they partner with is also providing an excellent experience for children . We highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a memorable holiday experience!

One of the best ever Family Hotel we have ever been! All the Details, the Location, the food, the kids program! With Snow or not, is a fantastic place, the Swimmingpool is Perfect Temperatur and the fact it has a Space for the Family, including the saunas! And a place for Patents to relax! We will come back!
