My fiancé and I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Marpunta Resort on the beautiful island of Alonissos this May, and it was truly a dream from start to finish. One of the most unforgettable moments of our trip was my proposal – and I can’t thank Alexandra and Lazarus enough for going above and beyond to help make it absolutely magical. Their support, care, and attention to detail turned an already special moment into something we'll cherish forever. Over the course of our 9-day stay, we met some incredible people who made our experience even more memorable. We connected deeply with Nina and Renée from the entertainment team – two wonderful, vibrant souls who brought so much fun and warmth to our days. We also became great friends with George, the lifeguard, whose kindness and good humor we’ll never forget. The entire staff at Marpunta were welcoming, attentive, and genuinely caring. Everyone went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and at home. The setting is absolutely stunning – peaceful, picturesque, and the perfect backdrop for a romantic and rejuvenating getaway. Marpunta Resort gave us memories that will last a lifetime – a magical proposal, new lifelong friends, and a sense of pure joy and relaxation. We’re already dreaming of coming back!

Thanks to the wonderful staff and there managers Lazarus and Costas who’ve made our stay and our wedding an unforgettable experience for us, our family and guests! We will definitely from now on be regular guests at this wonderful place. The two beaches and the wonderful pool at the side are amazing places to relax and enjoy the drinks and the delicious food.

We had the most incredible stay at the Marpunta Resort! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel like royalty. The check-in process was seamless, with Mrs. Nazarenko going above & beyond with the personal tour, tips & continous availability at all times! The room itself was immaculate, with luxurious furnishings, a king-size bed & a breathtaking ocean view. The hotel’s amenities are second to none. The breakfast buffet was a feast for the senses, with fresh fruits & local delicacies. I can’t recommend this hotel enough for anyone looking for a top-tier & exclusive experience. Already planning my next stay! (Special thanks to the new General Manager who's on top of everything)

The location was stunning, with direct access to two beautiful beaches and a well-kept pool surrounded by clean, white architecture. The rooms and shared spaces were always spotless and maintained to a high standard. The food was fresh and varied every day. There were always plenty of fruit options and different dishes to try, and as someone with Coeliac disease and a lactose intolerance, I was really impressed. I didn’t have any issues, and the staff made sure my dietary needs were taken care of without fuss. Drinks options at both the pool bar and sunset bar were exceptional with branded spirits and a variety of cocktails, juices, coffees and soft drinks. The staff were the true highlight of our trip. They were consistently friendly, hardworking, and easy to talk to but always maintained professionalism - even in the heat, they always had a smile and time for a chat. They all had so much character and we genuinely enjoyed getting to know them, they made our trip! We actually got engaged in the old town. Giasemi from the restaurant helped my partner plan the perfect proposal spot, and the reception we received when we returned from the chefs, waiting staff, bar staff and pool team was incredible! We’ve never been around so much love, happiness and warmth, they made the experience so special, and we’ll never forget that.

Location and sunset amazing . We were in room at the top of steps which definatley kept us fit . Great choice in buffet , a little disappointed at A la carte, took a while to serve main and had to ask for drink top ups , also we were not aware menu fish based . Not enough beds by pool and we were down for 9 AM , although did get beds on beach Entertainment staff were lovely and we wish them lots of luck for their future . Bar and waiting staff friendly Room clean and comfortable .

Wonderful hotel with breathtaking views and exceptional service. The entire staff was warm and welcoming. Lazaros, the head chef, and all the waiters were amazing, so helpful and kind. The hotel manager was very kind and attentive! We highly recommend and definitely hope to come back again soon!

Stunning hotel absolutely beautiful scenary with beautiful beaches and pool area was lovely too. Staff are amazing very welcoming whoever you speak to. Food is like no other all inclusive resort we have been to it’s very a la carte not a huge choice for children especially if the fussy eaters. Unfortunately the kanoes etc were not available when we stayed which was disappointing because there wasn’t a lot for children to and we was planning on trips to mamma Mia filming locations but didn’t realise you have to get a boat back to Skiathos to get a boat to the locations and then back. The boat crossing to hotel was lovely the boat crossing back was absolutely vile never been on a boat trip like it and first thing in the morning to it was so rough 🤢 staff on the boat was very nice though.

Picturesque location with beautiful views all around the hotel and amenities. The staff were excellent and so friendly towards everyone. The food was outstanding. A really great variety; including at the snack bar. We will definitely be back.

Thank you Marpounta for a great two weeks . The location is stunning the food and drinks great. All this topped off by wonderful and helpful staff. Special shoutout to the restaurant manager who always seems to be on duty. As to the comment about no breakfast on last day we left at 5.45 am coffee and orange juice available and the chef gave us a bag with sandwiches and cake for our onward journey no complaints from us.
