Almyrida Residence Boutique Hotel

It was our fourth time at this hotel and it never disappoints. The facilities and the rooms are all excellent. There are lovely seating areas and plenty offering shade. The location and view from the hotel, in particular the rooftop terrace, is perfect. The tavernas are all within easy walking distance and each one has a beautiful waterside position. The first-rate service and friendliness from all the hotel staff makes it even more special and so welcoming ..... thank you so much to Besa, Dimitris, Mirto, Ada, Eipini, Filip and Kyros and to anyone else that I haven't mentioned by name, including the very delightful and smiling cleaning team who do an outstanding job too. We always feel so comfortable and relaxed here, like a home from home. Thank you.

I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The rooms are simple but elegant. Everywhere is spotlessly clean. The rooftop terrace for breakfast was wonderful with fabulous views and endless choices for breakfast. The rooftop pool looked gorgeous but I must admit we did not use it, having spent most of the time on the beach. The hotel is a two minute walk from the beach and is surrounded by lots of lovely restaurants. Having said all the above what really makes this hotel stand out from the rest is the staff and the exceptional customer service. My husband forgot to empty the safe when we checked out and we only realised when the hotel contacted us whilst on our way to the airport to say the cleaners had found them when cleaning the room. I had also left my purse in the safe. We didn’t have time to return to the hotel as we would have missed our flight so the hotel arranged a taxi to meet us half way with our passports and my purse. I am pleased to say we caught our flight. However, it was only when we arrived home that I realised some very sentimental jewellery had also been left in the safe! We phoned the hotel who checked the safe again and found my jewellery. The wonderful Reception staff - and a special shout out to Artemis! then provided me with details of a company who would transport items left behind in hotels and I’m over the moon to say the jewellery arrived back safely. I will be forever grateful to the wonderful cleaners who found our passports and personal items and to all the fabulous reception staff who helped us.

Excellent hotel and the staff are cheerful helpful and humble especially demitrios the cocktail bartender . The breakfast was varied with freshly cooked or baked items as well as yoghurts fresh fruits and breads . The rooftop pool is a must. If I had to criticise the gym needs updating but only because I’m a gym rat all in all would return at a drop of a hat.

I complained about the noise and also that people from the "sister" hotel opposite, and some from off the street, were using the hotel's facilities. The manageress accepted my criticism and gave us free use of the the spa facilities as an apology. The spa facility has no anti slip strips on what is a very slippery floor when exiting the pool. I slipped on the wet floor boards on my way to the four steps down to the sauna. I missed the steps and fell down onto the stone floor, landing on my side. I have severe life changing injuries to my left side (hand, elbow, back and shoulder) and was luck not break my hip. I also had cuts to my arms. I mentioned how dangerous this is to the hotel manager and that other similar areas of both this and the sister hotel had anti slip strips. I was told that the spa was built according to the necessary safety requirements and effectively it was my own fault. I continue to have flashbacks, something I didn't think existed! Wet floor boards are slippery and dangerous. I did ask for some compensation as my holiday, and life, were ruined, but the owners do not accept any responsibility for the safety of their clients! Others in the hotel had also mentioned dangerous areas including the stairs down to reception. This also was mentioned to the manageress. I am obliged now to take legal action against the hotel

We stayed 14 days at this hotel in May. It was so relaxing we didn’t want to leave. Our room was excellent, the maid came every day so it was always spotless. We stayed half board which really suited us. Breakfast was served on the roof terrace or at the sister hotel across the road as was the evening meal, both of which were excellent. The staff were always friendly, helpful and smartly dressed. Brilliant holiday, we will return!

This hotel is a wonderful place to stay. Its location is perfect, in our favourite part of the world. The staff are so friendly and always willing to help. The rooms were refurbished last year and are very comfortable. The real gem is the rooftop bar and infinity pool. It provides a quiet retreat with amazing views, wonderful cocktails and shade when needed. The breakfast is also served on the rooftop where there is plenty of choice. The hotel is right by the sea front in the centre of a small village. There are plenty of tavernas and cafes to eat at. The beach is sandy with watersports and free sunbeds. The backdrop of the white mountains adds another special dimension.
