The hotel is in a good location, next to a street park, and the environment is very quiet. The restaurant is shaded by trees and very beautiful. The room is also good, with new facilities, simple and generous style, and a bathtub. The front desk service is very enthusiastic. The restaurant service staff is also very good. The breakfast is very rich and has local characteristics. The hamburger at noon is also delicious. Overall, it is good. I think it is similar to Atour in China.

The hotel is very nice, exquisite, and the service is attentive and considerate. It feels better than the domestic four-star standard. The front desk speaks English very well, and there is no problem with communication, but neither of them speaks Chinese. Most of the young staff can speak a little English, but the older ones can't. There are many foreign guests staying here: Europe, America, India, South Korea, etc. The hotel is in the city center, surrounded by many restaurants, cafes, and a relatively large shopping mall. It is not far from several major attractions and is very suitable for city walks. The room was clean and warm, the suite was spacious, and it was quiet at night. The breakfast is also quite rich, basically Western, Russian and Kazakh food, but it is also very comfortable to eat.

This hotel boasts nice facilities and amenities, modern decor, and comfortable orthopedic bed and pillows. Some minor issues could use improvement, such as inconsistent shower water temperature and minor breakfast issues (omelet chef left station unattended to go to market). However, the real disappointment came from the front-desk staff’s subpar customer service and poor coordination. After we returned a half-raw chicken Kiev, the restaurant manager courteously offered to waive the charge for the entire dinner and provided a complimentary dessert as an apology. We thought that was very gracious and accepted the apology. Unfortunately, the front desk refused (to the point of harassment) to honor this gesture during checkout, leading to a very unpleasant and completely unnecessary billing dispute. They also insisted on charging us for beverages we had brought ourselves, mistakenly assuming they were minibar items (even though the minibar did not even stock these items). To elevate the guest experience, this hotel would benefit from enhanced staff training, particularly in customer service and communication.

The rooms are nice and clean and have a dressing area. There is a good working wifi, in room safe and minibar with even beer, but no bottle opener. Luckily we have one in our travel essentials. For a short time the electricity went out but it was soon restored. However, this is more a problem for Almaty than for the hotel I guess. There were also no soft tissues in the room (no disaster). The breakfast buffet was average. Service is good.
