Geen negatieve dingen of opmerkingen tijdens mijn verblijf in hotel Alkmaar

Fijne centrale ligging tot Alkmaar. Goed te doen te voet of per fiets. Ruime kamer met goedwerkend koelkastje. Airco werkte voor ons onvoldoende bij warme weer. staat standaard ingesteld. sauna kun je vooraf reserveren fijn geregeld. Soms kun je direct erin omdat er al mensen zijn(geweest) Ontbijt is ruim voldoende. van lijnzaad/havermout tot spek met roerei. Eetzaal is in de kelder met mooi bos decoratie uitzicht. Er is voldoende gratis parkeerplek of een betalende parkeergarage. Minder was de reparatie service. Ons kluisje moest de batterij voor vervangen worden. Dit zou alleen gedaan worden als je geen bordje aan de deur hangt. Op dag 3 was het nog niet hersteld.

Goed en vriendelijk ontvangen. Lieve medewerkers. En een prachtig hotel. Netjes schoon! Fijn verblijf dank u wel .

Stayed at Hotel Alkmaar during my business trip in Holland. Warm and professional welcoming! I did a reservation for a standard room but what a surprise! I have been upgraded to junior suit thank you very much for this amazing experience!

Staff were lovely but no air-conditioning and a boiling day meant we had to open the windows with a busy road in front. Stayed in a Best Western the night afterwards which was miles nicer and much cheaper. Again, staff were lovely but you need Aircon for that price

I travelled here on my own for the West Ham game - perfect location for me near the train station and in a lovely street near the middle of town. I think I had the superior room which was plenty big enough. Spacious actually. Great service from the staff would recommend.

Short journey from Schipol Airport, less than 30 minutes. The hotel is perfectly suited for the AK Alkmaar Football Stadium which is a ten minute walk away. It is 25 minutes walk into the fabulous town of Alkmaar. The hotel has a good onsite Sushi restaurant. The staff are great. The hotel is safe and clean. But it is limited. Breakfast is a basic offering, good variety but quality average. Rooms are ok, functional but again just. The hotel reception doubles up as a bar. Not ideal. So for me it’s a good base for exploring Alkmaar but it is a no frills hotel. If you want a bit more, you need to stay elsewhere.

First class in all areas. Friendly, helpful staff. Top rate for cleanliness. Excellent breakfast. Superbly situated to attend AZ match at Victorie Stadium. Location also very good for bus routes when required.

Due to a severe storm the night before our booked stay at The Golden Tuliip we had to cancel. I`m perfectly fine with that the booking couldn`t be cancelled, but charging for 2 times breakfast which wasn`t included in the basic price and obviously never utilized, is simply greedy. I respect that hotels have had a very rough time during Covid19 for almost two years, but this is not the way to meet their customers again.

A place to call Home away from home. Lovely staff, courteous, professional and very helpful. When I checked in I was told that they had given me a room to the front of the hotel and considering that I am staying a month, changed to a room at the back of the hotel and asked if this was suitable. Of course it was, the quieter the better it is. I needed a taxi as my app to order an Uber did not work and they did so without hesitation and offered me a cup of coffee while waiting. When I booked breakfast they wanted to know if I wanted to book this for my whole stay and due to early shifts I declined. They offered me a breakfast instead.... and all this with a smile. My house in Alkmaar is not ready yet as the renovation take longer than expected.... I don't mind. I am very well looked after.
