This is a gem of a hotel in a beautiful part of Portugal. We visited in July as a family of three. The apartments are well appointed and perfect for us - we stayed in the corner villa with a view over the valley . The property has beautiful surrounding gardens and a stunning pool which we mostly had to ourselves during our visit . Breakfast is to die for ! Delicious selection of cheese , charcuterie , fruit and freshly baked bread . We also enjoyed the honesty bar and free access to tea/ coffee and cakes in the communal area , during our stay . We loved the low key family boutique vibe of this place and will be back!

Wonderful! We stayed here as a base to discover the area and beaches. What a great choice! The rooms, breakfast, area and hosts are fantastic. Marta helped us by giving advice of where to go and made us feel so welcome. Will be returning!

We have just returned from a truly blissful week at the most wonderful haven, with the most amazing hosts at Herdada Quinta Natura. If you enjoy peaceful surroundings, walks in nature, wild and unspoilt beaches then you will live this place!

If you want to stay in a tranquil and immaculate place, then look no further. We spent 3 nights here. We were close to many beautiful beaches and good restaurants. The rooms were quiet, the gardens ideal for relaxing in and the attention to detail by our wonderful hosts was worthy of a luxury hotel. We would love to return.

Lovely hotel. Lovely owners. Sweetest dogs. Relaxing spot. Nice grounds. Delicious breakfast on a pleasantly patio. Beautiful pool but a bit chilly in April. 😉. Comfortable room. Nice shower and amenities. A little hard to find but worthwhile.

Return visit after 4 years. Still as fabulous as we remembered always a warm welcome, great comfortable beds and fab breakfast. Love going out in the mornings to various beaches/villages and returning to laze by the pool or sit outside the room on the terrace. Great having an honour bar also. Tucked away but everything is just a short drive away. You have to go!

Stayed in the Cactus room 6 in September. Fabulous hospitality from Marta and her husband. The breakfasts are really generous, so much so we took bread and cheese for later as we had no further room once we had eaten croissants with a really lovely pumpkin jam, a wide variety of fruit, fresh orange juice, and cake. The communal areas are very comfortable, there is always somewhere to sit in the sun when helping yourself to tea and coffee and biscuits. The swimming pool area is very tranquil with lots of loungers. So many beautiful beaches within a thirty minute drive - the perfect place to stay. Which is why we can’t understand why there are not more reviews, perhaps we should have kept it a secret!

I'm sure this review will echo many of the others on here. But this is just and absolute gem of a place. Great location within a couple of miles drive of 3 of the best beaches. We stayed in Garden Room 5 which is very private with a lovely view into the hills. The condition of both the grounds and the room is immaculate and the hosts are simply superb. Great pool too! They could not have pitched it better; kept a low profile but nothing was too much trouble. And as for the breakfast, you won't go hungry during the day!! Fantastic. There are only a couple of caveats I would note, as others have on here. The place is no good for very young children or folk with mobility issues. Too many steep steps, etc. Also, the hosts' super-friendly dogs (Coco and Poppy) roam the grounds which we loved; the anti-dog folk might not. We had a superb relaxing break (some days never left the place!) and we hope to be back again.

Wat een fantastische accommodatie is deze plek! Een amazing view, heerlijke tuin en schone kamers. De gastvrouw en gastheer zijn geweldig! Heel vriendelijk, staan altijd voor je klaar. Heel attent en gastvrij. Het ontbijt is een mooie, goede en lekkere start van de dag. Een echt must do!
