The hotel was fine overall and the staff excellent.
The breakfast selection was poor. No cooked eggs and a poor range of hot food. Sausages were very processed and awful. Fruit was very limited

This is a lovely hotel…. Sp pretty with columns and alcoves. For the first night I booked dinner B&B….. the food was delicious! Dinner was 5 courses but included the best Broccoli au Gratin I ever tasted and included a glass of red wine. I expected the wine to be tough but it was actually very good! I did not try the open air swimming pool but in this heat it was an option … nearby beach was crowded and with fascinating container port nearby I found it hard to believe the water was bathing quality! 8€ taxi ride from bus station. Staff were unfailingly helpful and courteous. Next time I will ask for a room with a mountain-view. I stayed a second night … trip charged me a higher price? I also took their Day Excursion to Morocco…€72 but add on €40 for tips! It included return ferry, transport, guide and Moroccan lunch ( delicious) … driver, his friend, guide and me on a 32 seater bus! Obligatory “buy a carpet” talk at “craft school” ( Omg I bought a carpet!) … hold out for the trinkets shop on the way out!!! 4 hours to get back through customs … queues…. But it was fascinating v and an unexpected glimpse into border mentality. 4 layers … Moroccan military check, Moroccan police check, Spanish police check and Covid certificate check and final layer …. Spanish guards emptying and checking every car and finding something to throw away from everyone!!!! Two days feels like a wonderful week!

Nice hotel in Algeciras. Placed very near a round-about , so maybe not the best area for a hotel. But within reach of the city if you want to walk about 30 min. I used taxi. Very good meny in the restaurant with very tasty meals. Breakfast buffet not more than ok. I was on a business trip, so the tendency is to get a separate meny when on a work trip. This meny has much less to select from, so I normally choose the main menu. Very pleasant staff, both in the reception and in the restaurant. All in all a nice stay.

We had a pleasant stay at the hotel. We stayed there couple of nights, using it as a launch point to visit Gibraltar and take the ferry to Morocco. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean. Breakfast was ok, nothing special. All in all I thought it was good value for the price.

I had an absolutely amazing time at Alboran Algeciras. The rooms were spacious and spotless but less in interior décor which i would say you can try to improve. The meal buffet was delicious and restaurant was spacious and amazing with a huge variety of options. The pool was outstanding. The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble. The only disappointing thing was that the interior of room and blanket and bedsheet were very thin and rough. I would have liked softer ones. Other than that, I can’t fault the place and will definitely go back.

We were awaiting a Blabacar and were greeted warmly in English by a charming young woman who asked to store our luggage ( in anticipation of a wedding ) while we went to the bar. Oscar the barman was friendly ( again in English ) with bottles of wine, tapas and a seafood pizza. We did not stay longer than 90 minutes but it was still a wonderful experience in beautiful surroundings. Thank you so very much.

A very warm welcome on arrival. Room was clean and comfortable (once I’d turned the heating down from 28C!). Breakfast was ok although on the first morning the hot food was barely luke warm. I was early the second morning and it was hot then. Bar was excellent and staff very friendly. Pizzas are good too. Location is a way out of town but I don’t mind walking and there seemed to be plenty of buses with stops outside the hotel. I’d definitely stay again if I return to Algeciras.

The staff were so lovely, especially one particular lady on reception. The food is lively and so varied from A lacarte to snacks in the cafeteria. The room was clean and rended to daily. The only thing that could be slightly better is the buffet breakfast. There's plenty to choose from, and it's all lovely. However, the pastries were not covered. When I took one, a load of fruit flues flew up. Everything was so simple and the staffs English was sooooo much better than my Spanish.
