Worst hotel experience ever - will never go to Ibis hotels again. I sent the following complaint to Ibis and Accor but they never even bothered to reply. We arrived at the hotel very late at night after a long and delayed flight, exhausted and with two young children in tow. We had booked a family room, confident that it would accommodate our needs as it has on numerous previous occasions. However, we were informed at check-in that the room was only suitable for three guests and could not fit a baby cot. The reception staff were curt and unhelpful, giving us no choice but to book an additional room or find another hotel at that late hour. With no viable alternative, we reluctantly paid for the second room. To our surprise and frustration, we discovered that the rooms were indeed large enough to accommodate a baby cot, rendering the extra expense unnecessary and avoidable. This not only caused undue stress but also left us feeling unfairly treated, especially as we have stayed in Ibis family rooms with four people without issue in the past.
