"Very nice location, nice property but visible the need of some TLC.. some furnite needs to be renewed. The rooms and bathroom are small, i was expecting bigger rooms. The was a flavoured water dispenser at reception that since i checked in on Friday 01st May until late in the evening was empty… I believe it would simple to fill it up, and the people would enjoy it. The outside pool was very nice and big, but no enough sunbathing chairs. The Spa is really nice, but is small and some of the Spa Circuit stations were not working properly. The breakfast had plenty of choices, the restaurant area was also nice. At dinner the service was a little sloppy… he had starters, while we were eating starters the main dish was really, and because the servant didn’t want to delay it, tried taking our plates without even finishing the starter… Overall, a good experience would go back, but some little things needs improvement."

"Bad hotel. It should be 3 or 2 stars. Room not very clean. With clothes from another guest in the room. Small and poorly clean room. Shower that didn't hold, you could only take a shower with the shower in your hand and with very little pressure. And we are in a SPA hotel. Swimming pool without towels for guests and worst of all, several rooms are below the room where they serve breakfast which is on the 2nd floor. You need to pay attention to the room you are given otherwise you will wake up at 7 am for sure. I don't recommend this hotel and they should take away one star, it doesn't deserve it. One of the worst hotels I've been to"

"The village, Aljubarrota, is itself of great historical interest. It is around 10 minutes to Alcobaca. We found the area to be very pleasant. As for the Casa da Padeira itself, the quality of service and comfort was extremely good. For example, the breakfast was excellent, as were the rooms and the immediate surroundings of the Casa. I should add that we were given a list of suggested restaurants in the vicinity which turned out to be quite useful. In all, this was a surprising, very worthwhile visit."
