SERVIZIO AD PERSONAM !! nonostante avessi una prenotazione e loro avessero decine di tavoli vuoti ! Accampando una serie interminabile di scuse non mi hanno fatto accomodare ! Probabilmente il fatto che io sia straniero immigrato in Italia a loro non piacciono i miei soldi Ma solo i soldi di alcuni … Mi hanno cacciato via in malo modo prima volta che in Italia mi succede una esperienza simile !! Vergognoso !! Tenete conto utenti se non piacere al manager del ristorante non avvicinatevi al Grand hotel Alassio .. 🤞

3rd year in Liguria, first time staying in Alassio. I cannot understand why everything is more expensive than in other places, 10-15 minutes away on the coast. It is more touristic, but that in fact is a disadvantage as there are huge crowds especially in the evening, you have to squeeze to pass by on the main shopping street. Umbrella prices : around 50 EUR / day for an umbrella and 2 basic sunbeds ?? There is a public beach if you walk to 20 minutes to the edge of Alassio, there it's around 30 EUR but was fully booked for the season, not that you would want to walk 20 minutes back and forth in the heat. All the other private beaches seem aligned around 50 EUR. Also the private beaches open at 9:00 ? If you want a stroll or dip earlier you have to go all the way to the public beach. This is not the case in other resorts in Liguria. Now to the hotel, location is OK, beach front, clean and breakfast is truly very good, way above average with lots of options. We didn't opt for sea view rooms, as we were on the beach all day anyway, don't think it's worth the price difference. A few negative points that can be bothering though : - the pool on the top is super small, if there are more than 6 people around it looks already crowded. - you have to give your car keys and they are parking the car and bringing it when needed. Although we asked for our car 1 hour before we needed it, still had to wait 20 minutes extra, not OK when you have a fixed schedule. Also 29 EUR/ day for parking, in previous years in other locations this was included, at no extra charge. - the hotel's restaurant lunch and dinner is too expensive. There are 4 courses, each with 3 options that you can choose from. The food is very good nothing to say, but 55 EUR seems exaggerated. +10 EUR if you want it served one floor above, on the terrace. Weird. We only tried once, so many good places to eat around.

Oui Oui et Oui !! Je vous recommande vivement cet hôtel, la nuit est un certain prix, mais vraiment cela vaut la peine. Très joli hôtel, très bon emplacement, personnel sympa, piscine (pas très grande) mais gratuite. J' y suis allée en solo pour me détendre et je n'ai pas été déçue, il en bord de mer avec tout ce que cela comporte, un peu de bruit le soir (chant dans un bar), le bruit des vagues (si on dort la fenêtre ouverte) mais moi j'aime ça. Le petit déjeuner est très bien, il y a du choix, petit bémol... il n'y a que une machine à café pour toute la salle, alors soyez patient. Il a un certain standing mais cela ne doit décourager personne si comme vous n'êtes pas sur votre 31 au déjeuner, qu'importe. La location du transat est un peu cher 36 euro la journée mais c'est le prix dans un 4*. Étant seule je ne peux pas juger du restaurant, je n'y ai pas mangé. Je vous conseille les chambres au 4ème étage ou 5 car en dessous vous avez la vue sur les arbres et non la mer et comme il y a une petit terrasse c'est dommage de ne pas en profiter. Oui je vais y revenir avec mon mari, c'est évident.
