Diamond Hill Resort Hotel

Visited for one week, mid April with my sister. Weather was fab. The hotel is lovely and is kept immaculate. We had a room each. Each room had a king size bed and a single. Toiletries and hairdryer provided. Room was stocked daily with water tea coffee and a few soft drinks. Rooms were big, modern and clean. Shower was super hot and super powerful. Meals were good. A bot repetitive with a lot of same stuff served at every meal but we really enjoyed it. More than a week would be too repetitive though. Drinks were decent. Cocktails very sweet bit there are so many you should def find one you like. There is a market on Thursday and Monday, cross the bridge, pass Migros and continue walking along the main road until you get to the Bigger Migros, at the BP garage... massive market. The entertainment team do their very best to involve folk in day time entertainment. The guests in the hotel were mostly russian german or acandanavian, so night time entertainment was set up for those guests and we did not feel it was for us. There is not much to do around the hotel.just a few shops, no bars or entertainment. So while daytime was fun, I found it to be very boring at night, which is fine if you want a very quiet holiday. Id say if you have kids age 10-18,they will not find much to do here.

First experience in a 5star in alanya, I have mixed feelings about this hotel. The good points to start with, the cleaners are absolutely amazing.  Room always spotless and stocked with water, tea, fresh towels etc. The bar staff were fantastic, especially Oktay and Serva. The reception staff were lovely also, tried to help resolve any queries/ issues you may have had. The restaurant was clean and staff were quick at clearing tables and plates away. The patisserie looked amazing and the cakes were nice, although they didn't know what they were. The staff working the front gates are lovely, they would speak to you while waiting for pick up.  The gates were open within seconds of you arriving also. The room temperature control is an absolute must, was good that this is included. The room showers are fantastic, great pressure.  Was great for washing hair, compared to most other hotels I've tried. The bad points, the food was pretty par and same every day. The drinks weren't the best, unless you like beer, gin or vodka.  They advertise blue curacao, it's a chocolate flavoured syrup.  So did ruin the cocktail experience.  The coconut rum isn't nice either. The animation team is a dreadful experience.   Bingo for €15 a strip, to win about a fiver in cheap tat from shops.  They give vouchers also, but you have to spend money in order to get discounts.  Staff gave misinformation about said vouchers, so really wasn't a good experience. The spa looks clean enough, but they try to book you in multiple times.  Telling people they have medical issues they can sort, if you come 4/5 times during your stay.  Again another money grabbing scheme. The rep yusuf who meets you in hotel is great at pitching excursions,  however you get nowhere when you've had a bad excursion.  They only offer a pittance back, and it seems a fight to get it.  We experienced a few power cuts, which were resolved quickly.  However not so great if you were in lift at time of the cut. Overall I found the 5star experience a 3 at most.   This was supposed to be a relaxing holiday.  I found certain aspects of it stressful and it has put me off wanting to visiting alanya again. 

This was a wonderful experience, really lovely staff, great food and service. Fabulous night manager (ilkan) who ensured everyone was happy and safe, would 100% recommend. I was a 1st time solo traveller and this lovely hotel made me feel safe and sound ♥️

My stay at this hotel was a delightful experience. The lift offered stunning views of the surrounding area. Mehmet G at the reception, was exceptional; his hospitality was warm and attentive, ensuring we had what we needed. The service he provided was outstanding, adding a personal touch that truly enhanced our visit. Spa was lovely. More food options would be better.

The facilities were better than expected for a hotel. The staff was friendly and supportive, other reviews say that the staff does not speak English, we have however not had any problems as a vast majority spoke English well. The free drinks and beer were also good together with the food. The restaurant had different foods every day and it was tasty. The bartenders were nice and happy to give any drink they were able to make. I was very happy with us being able to get drinks too. When it says all inclusice they mean all inclusive, only very select things cost money, and I felt that you were able to enjoy the stay fully without using additional money. The rooms were a nice size (We had the standard room one double bed and a single bed and we were two people in one room). The pool was nice and big, with a good mix of chemicals that ensured no bacterial growth without beeing too chlorinated. It was pretty cold at the start of our trip (easter vacation) but that was most likely because it had just been refilled before we arrived, which meant that it was still cold because the sun hadnt warmed it enough. There were activities outside at the pool hosted by the staff, those were nice so you had the possibility for an activity, sometimes the music was a bit loud however so it disturbed sleeping at the pool. It was nice that there was food outside at the pool area, the french fries, burger and chicken nuggets were a nice simple meal that was nice to enjoy as a snack. We did get distrubed a couple of times at the pool with offers that you could buy which got annoying after it happened over and over again the first couple of days. The beach area was simple but nice, sun stools, a bar where you were able to get beer, water and soda. There was also a traditional bread making stand with a woman that was very skilled, that made us some bread which we were very fond of. The hotel is located very closely to the beach, some beach activities further down the coast, convenience stores, a street market that is open on thursdays and a good shisha bar with cheap prices and friendly environment (Buzz lounge). I wanted to send a special thanks to the personel and especially Achmed, Halil and Atakan, they really upped our vacation to a new level. Extremely helpful and friendly. All in all a very enjoyable experience and would definitely be coming back.

To sum it up in a few words,fantastic hotel,rooms gorgeous,staff freindly and helpful,location was a bit of a let down for us as there was many buildings surrounding hotel and not much greenery and flowers,food was really nice and not repetetive something to suit everyone exellent top class hotel for the price.
