Usually “free breakfast” means cereal and a waffle machine. Here your free breakfast is cooked to order, with a number of different options available. It can be a bit slow and disorganized. Stop whining - it’s free and it’s fresh. Great staff, cool gift shop, no complaints about the room. I would happily stay here again.

Not recommended. We have no pets, but concrete all around puts the only small fake grass area for dogs right outside our room door…gross!
Breakfast service had 1 1/2 hour wait, with no convenient options. Felt sorry for the single server trying to cover it. Lobby staff only concerned with selling upscale Pendleton clothing in the lobby store.
We will avoid this ‘classic’ place next time for sure.

This hotel was a very reasonable price. We booked two rooms for our family. One was more updated with tile floors. The second had carpet and a smell that was not bad, but that my wife associated with old hotels. The rooms were fairly clean, but had some aging. The staff was very friendly. We were able to borrow some sleds from the hotel which saved us a ton of money! The breakfast was delicious and cooked to order, but the whole process took about 1.5 hrs (likely because they were short staffed) and the portions were not very big.

This is a delightful motel in the heart of Alamogordo. Close to everything and local charm. The staff is top-notch and do their best to make your stay here great!

Room was nice, bed was comfy. Staff was very nice and the property was well kept. We slept fine but the room was a bit noisy, but it was right on the main road. It was nice that they had sleds/saucers for you to borrow when going to White Sands National Park so you didn't have to buy them at the Park.
