We stayed for 2 nights and absolutely loved this hotel! Beautiful grounds, pool, tennis court, billiard and excellent customer service from hotel and restaurant staff. The room was clean, spacious, with a small balcony, queen beds very comfortable. Our stay included a la carte breakfast, which was tasty and filling. We had dinner at the steakhouse, which has a nice decor and delicious food and wine choices. The hotel staff was nice to organize a breakfast to-go for us since we had an early morning flight. Great hotel, highly recommend!

The hotel is a great place to stay. Room was clean and everyting worked as it should. The staff made everything about or stay perfect. We enjoyed the included breakfoast more than I have ever enjoyed a breakfast that was included with a stay. The dinner was out of this world. Each night we had a different steak meal and the meat was out if this world. The staff was on another level. I cant wait to go back!
We used the gym and although some of the treadmill type equipment didnt really work there was plenty of equipment to get a great workout.
At first we thought the pool was dirty and uncared for but we realized that the breeze constantly keeps leaves in the pool and someone cleans it daily. We swam in the pool and enjoyed the cold water thouroughly.

We stayed at this hotel for just one night after flying into San Jose late at night. It was clean, quiet and safe. The included breakfast was lovely - the restaurant has a nice outdoor space near a lovely little park, and the food was delicious. Would highly recommend as a short term stay.

We loved our room. We had a beautiful suite. The grounds are lovely. Enjoyed swimming laps in the pool and working out in the gym. Breakfast is good. Unfortunately, I do not recommend the steakhouse for dinner. Steaks are overcooked, chewy, and not Argentine cuts, but instead, poor quality meat. I was very disappointed.

Beautiful, authentic Costa Rican hotel. Friendly and helpful staff, the grounds were beautiful and the restaurant food was delicious. I would stay here again.

Roo(King Suite) was spacious and equipped as advertised. Bed was comfortable.
We were surprised to find adjoining sliding doors that were not secured. We could access occupied neighbouring suite..and their effects. We notified security and used limited locking mechansim to secure one side. We couldn't use the safe un the room because it was already locked.
Dinner at the steak restaurant (with reservations) was very good.
