We stayed in a Deluxe room, and they are very spacious and really nice! The dinner and breakfast are delicious and the employees are very keen to do everything to your satisfaction. The hotel is really an Ecolodge, no unnecessary swimingool and only short watering of the plants. Really a nice and friendly place!

We chose to stay here for easy access to the turtles. Whilst it was good to see the nest and hatchlings we enjoyed staying two nights here and exploring the beaches and wider region. We loved Tiwi beach and the restaurant opposite the light house in sur in particular. The lodge itself was fantastic- the staff were very welcoming. We had a family room which was perfect for us - it was kitted out to a good standard with large spacious bathroom with his n hers sinks. There was also a great outdoor cinema showing kid friendly movies in the evening (which would not disrupt your evening if you didn’t want to go). Dinner was a buffet and catered for wide range of tastes. Similarly, breakfast was really enjoyable and great way to fuel up for day exploring the region.

What a unique place. Minimalistic, eco-sustainable, clean room and bathroom. The room is gorgeous as is the bathroom. Prices were amazing. And the staff were so friendly and accommodating... It's a lovely place to get away from it all, and it's close to Ras Al Jinz turtle reserve where you can go turtle watching and stargazing. There are other resorts in the area, but this place is both aesthetic and ethical.

Great buffet. Lots of different kind of meals, including salads and deserts ! Vegetable soup, humus, even an Italian pasta that i didn’t try. The place looks like Africa. A very warm place that I surely recommend. Nice staff 12 dollars per person. Love it

We stayed at the Deluxe room which is very nice. The person at the reception was very room and not cooperative at all... Just rude. The food was so bad we ended up eating plain rice... Other Sama lodges food is way better...really a shame for this poor food and service

We had an excellent stay at Sama Ras Al Jinz Eco Lodge. It is within driving distance (maybe even a long walk) from the turtle sanctuary. The bungalows are beautiful with working A/C and the outdoor shower was very cool! There isn't a lot to do at the lodge, but they did show a movie outdoors under the stars. The food was especially impressive. There was a large variety at the buffet and all of the food was of excellent quality. The staff was kind and parking is free. The only improvement is to offer wi-fi. I highly recommend this accommodation. It was very close to the turtle sanctuary and extremely comfortable. It was one of our best stays in Oman!
