No hot water for 6 days... Management not up for the job. Overpriced drinks. Double expresso euro 5. Are we in Rome?!! And poor quality. Cleaning people arrive with their with kids in tow... Wifi so so. Better places elsewhere... Never again!

Extremely disappointed—overrated and overpriced. The coffee was 6 euros for a freddo cappuccino, and the barrel beer was a whopping 6.5 euros. Even downtown in the harbor is less expensive. I've never seen a pricier place; they think it’s Mykonos. I don’t recommend it. At this point, it’s a pure scam."

Me and my grandchildren were so happy that we have chosen Blue Beach resort for our holiday trip. Evetything was so close to our studio, the kids appreciated the pool, there were plenty of sunshades on the beach and the sea was brilliant.

Great hotel and very helpfull staff. Beautiful views and (sand!) beaches. Food was amazing and portions were very big. The view from the restaurant is wonderful. Pool was cleaned regularly. Only downside is that you do need a car to get to the bigger cities or turistic locations, but they easily arranged that for us. You can really relax here as the village is quite calm and small (although we visited in May so it might be a lot bussier in the peak of the season). Would higly recommend.

Great little cluster of villas and apartments - all different and all with at least a bit of sea view. And what a lovely bay to overlook- Stavros Bay and Zorbas mountain Exactly the right mix of hotel / taverna services and self-catering convenience for us Swimming and snorkelling excellent

We went to Blue Beach in the evening by the beach for a drink. 2 Greek coffees with raki (1dl) and 2 small draft beers, €22.00!!!!! Are they crasy? We have been coming to Crete for 15 years and have never seen this. This is a good practice to scare away external customers. At the same time we will advertise to them, which will be free.

We stayed with family and was surprised by a lot. We had two bed apartment with sea facing balconies (3). The views of the sea and mountains was stunning. The apartment was clean and huge, facilities were good although microwave kept blowing the fuses so didn’t use but didn’t need to. The food was excellent and wine 2.50 euros a glass of 4.50 euros a litre. There was lots of local dishes served throughout the day. The snacks bar next the pool serve the best smoothies! Staff were kind and attentive day and night. The pool was lovely and welcomed as the temperatures in August are 37-39 c daily. There are plenty of sunbeds and a lower sanded area too. The beeches were all around and snorkelling and swimming in the sea is a must! Local bus is a good 1/4 mile walk up the road which takes you to Stavos main beach and Chania ( must visit). Day excursions to El fonso beech a must. Goes through the mountains, stops a traditional mountain village for food. Funny bus driver. Stavos beech is lovely too, good restaurants around. Cave up in the mountains, might be better visiting in cooler months. All round the apartment perfect, very relaxed, family oriented, clean sheets daily. Definitely go back. Only downside no local shop, it’s a good walk and in the heat and was very challenging so stock up when you go anyway.

We had Ana amazing stay at great value. We were in a 3 bed studio sea view with 2 patio areas - 1 overlooking the resort beach and the other overlooking Stavros beach. It was amazing on every level. (Though the cockroaches at night were not fun, they live in the rocks). The staff were so friendly and helpful. The other guests, many returning regularly, were friendly as well. It was an oasis. The restaurant had good and plentiful food, with drinks being slightly higher than elsewhere, but worth it to not worry about having a drink and going back to the room (though we had beer, ouzo and soft drinks from the supermarket in our fridge). The pool was lovely, there are plenty of sun beds and never did the place feel crowded even though they were fully booked (unlike other parts of crete where the beaches were mobbed). As for the beach, there are 3 to chose from, but the main one for the resort is the prettiest. It has pink sand like Elofinisi (but without the drive and crowds), volcanic rocks, a wonderful Stavros mountain view and great sunrises (or the other side of a taverna ruin, sun sets). It was wonderful and we cannot wait to return
