Las Casas del Chorro

Wow!! First of all, the island of La Gomera is absolutely gorgeous, the landscape and scenery really blew my mind and I’m already planning another visit to the island. I couldn’t recommend visiting La Gomera more highly. The apartments at Las Casas Del Chorro were so quaint, relatively remote and absolutely beautiful. Finding it was easy and the staff were lovely, keeping in contact and handing over keys, showing us around etc was very smooth. I stayed here for 4 days for a birthday trip and the staff really kindly provided us with a complimentary bottle of wine and a little note to wish me happy birthday, this was such a nice gesture. Not only that but the staff also text me on my birthday to wish me many happy returns! They were so helpful and very accommodating. The apartment came with a small hob if you wanted to cook, plenty of crockery and they even gave us a little welcome pack with coffee, milk and bread! The apartment had a TV which was handy for the evenings to help us wind down, the bedrooms came with plenty of blankets (it got chilly in the evenings), there was plenty of storage, the bathroom facilities were great, everything was so clean and the view was amazing!! We felt very lucky to stay here and even more so by the fact it is so close to the town of Agulo which was beautiful. The apartments are next to Mirador De Abrante, one of the many lookout points (highly recommend). If you do stay here, you won’t regret it!!

The good: Nice location in the hills. Feels like a rental cottage. Some supplies are provided. The bad: Bed and pillow were uncomfortable. Biggest problem I had was 4 days of trying to make a credit card payment with the link provided by the management firm. After many days without responses from the managers I finally made the payment using an alternate method the day before I had to check in. I was facing forfeiture of the total booking amount due to lack of payment but the problem was not me - it was the managers of the property. The managers seem disorganized and inflexible. It is quite difficult to deal with this kind of issue while you are already travelling. Would give this property a pass due to this problem alone.

Very nice house The house is beautiful! Nice living and bedrooms, perfect terrasses outside. Location is beautiful with a nice high view nearby over Agula!

Attention to detail by the manager is excellent!!! The house is beautiful, quiet, and at a perfect place down in the Agulo ravine. Plenty of parking space too. If you fancy a pretty isolated area where to rest, come here. I'll be back for sure!!!

Un peu déçus Logement typique dans les montagnes, très propre et bien équipé. Malheureusement, la cuisine et la salle de bains sont inconfortables. Dans la cuisine vous êtes obligés de vous agenouiller pour attraper la vaisselle, il n'y a pas de placard pour ranger vos courses et la plaque de cuisson devrait être changée. Dans la salle d'eau, il y a un bidet mais vous avez à peine la place pour vous sécher en sortant de la douche. Ce sont des problèmes qui pourraient être résolus avec un peu de pragmatisme et moins de "marketing". Mais c'est un très bel endroit sinon.

Lugar agradable, muy tranquilo, en plena naturaleza. Las casas son acogedoras y muy confortables, amuebladas y decoradas con mucho gusto. Tienes todo lo que necesitas. Además, nos pusieron un detalle de bienvenida de productos típicos de la isla. El refugio perfecto para disfrutar de unos días de desconexión en La Gomera.
