Hiraya Wellness Resort and Ecopark

Good -Park like setting, pet friendly, many nice pools to use. Couple villa has own little pool surrounded by plants for privacy. Air-conditioned room. Warm shower water, local drinking water provided. Eating area inside room, ref and sink. Gated entry with gate guard. Provided breakfast, portions are local but quite filling. Plenty of onsite parking (watch out for coconuts above car). Golf cart with driver available but the walk is really short and mostly flat. Toothbrush and amenities provided. Ants and bugs are typical so not an issue (bug spray recommended for foreigners). Employees welcoming and very responsive and well groomed. Room service (took for all meals). Bad -lack of food menu in room with room service offered, housekeeping called Butler but not. Provided cell phone with load, load expired initially. Updates every 6 hours to phone via text message. 80% of time housekeeping could not be reached. Menu once either found on web site or brought to door many things not available and size of portion not clear. Food cold sometimes upon delivery and or not taste very good, food service is slow. Bar soap provided is nice but small (cut down from a larger bar). A bit of a drive to anything else nearby and not much else found to do here. Ugly -Breakfast order lost on last day to check out, was placed 6PM in person at door night before. If had not called would not have been provided (since we had pet with us, opted for room service) Housekeeping light not working at front door to make up room. Ref compressor noise. Sometimes arcing / hum noise coming from electrical panel. Expectation of vacationer not in alignment with profit margin site manager is attempting to generate from each stay. You are left with a feeling of overpaying for a level of service that was lacking and this felt in relation to how the business just seems to be run. Arrival was overwhelming (good) but departure needs improvement.

MY VERDICT - SPACE 4/5 feedback - GOOD ROOMS better : Naming conventions in website, didn't explain they had couple villa also. - HYGINE and MAINTENANCE - 5/5 feedback - well maintained (a) Room (b) Green environment (c) Pool (d) Activity areas (e) Lagoon - STAFF : 5/5 feedback - good staff especially CHEF (who cooked something veg for us because we had less Indian or veg options, YOUNG BOY WITH GLASSES who was always positive and helpful got us keys when we forget, buggies, - FACILITIES : 5/5 feedback : lot to do YOGA, LAGOON, COOKING, TRECKING, CYCLING. - PET FRIENDLY : 5/5 feedback : staff also very helpful and reasonable extra charges - FOOD : 4/5 feedback : FOR VEG "GREEN DRINK" "COCKTAILS", PESTO PASTA, VEG PIZZA better : Vegetarians option in breakfast is less -BUT- STAFF and CHEF KIND and they arranged something .....i suggest add THAI VEG CURRY part of the menu with some TOFU dishes or a combo FOR VEG

The property is lush and beautiful, which does include mosquitoes. The accommodations were clean and spacious, with bottles of filtered water provided for each room. We were a large group staying in various room types including the White House which gave us exclusive use of one of the pools. There is a spa, though services were not entirely as described. During our visit, several of the advertised activities were not available such as pizza making, animal visit, and more. Food service to pool or rooms was slow, though food was good. Check out for our large group took over two hours as bookkeeping seems to be very labor intensive. Staff were friendly and accommodating for the most part, though some seemed to have trouble understanding English (about half our group do not know Tagalog). Overall, it is a beautiful location which is well kept and a good place to visit if you’re looking for time in nature.

Relaxing getaway from work! Definitely a must visit for a quick recharge! Fresh Air, Healthy hikes, Delicious Food for the tired soul! Very Hospital Staff and enjoyed visiting the rabbits! Will definitely go back! Planning to bring my family soon!

new restaurant that’s why there was delay in serving food during Christmas Eve dinner. Also, my PWD and Senior discount was not deducted when we checked out. Still waiting for refund after more than 24 hours after check out.
