Quick stay as got in late so dinner at 8 pm. W-fi only worked in reception. Room was far and the floors were huge. Dinner was great. Asked for some help at reception and the guy was nasty. Staff at dinner were nice. Was off after early breakfast so never saw the layout And thanks for Nina because she was us all time night and morning she lovely girl We was just 4 person in hotel

We went to Hari Club Beach Resort just after Christmas and spent the new Year there. It was a plesant experience and such a lovely unspoilt beach. The sun was shining and it was great to have such weather as compared to London. We were thrilled with the food that we had and there was such a variety of food everyday. The entertainment team were fabulous and I have to say the staff including the waiters and entertainers were great and always delivered exceptional services. We had a great surprise for New Year's eve and the party that was organised was mind blowing and the count down to midnight was really nice. The Spa and massage were very good and value for money. Special regards to Ghaith, who organised our massage. He is very knowledgeable, friendly and always tries his best to offer the best massage at the best prices. The Spa and Massage is a must if you are in Hari Club Beach Resort. Bravo aux staffs!!

The hotel is very dated. They have updated it to look good on photos but it is very poor. The beds are as hard as the floor. Our fridge didn't work and the shower was cold 5 out of 7 days, despite complaining 3 times. Some staff are lovely but others are very miserable. The hotel is clean and the evening meals are okay with a variety of choices. The breakfast is poor with a choice of eggs, toast and croissants. No entertainment most of the time. The indoor pool is very small and only suitable for under 5 year olds. The beach is dirty and unkept. Djerba is a terrible, derelict place full of litter. Even the palm trees look depressed.

Rooms… a bit dated, but the cleaners were in every day so the cleanliness was fine! The reception staff were always helpful and friendly! The animation team here are AMAZING!! Zizo is definitely the star of the show, we all loved him, such a character! Joe, the boss of the animation team was a great laugh, he’s brilliant at his job! Very entertaining! Also blackly, he’s brilliant too, what a guy! Nina is lovely and very friendly too! Not forgetting William and Dana who are also a great part of the animation team! We loved that they all spent time getting to know the hotel guests, they often came over and sat with us, playing games and chatting. If I’m being completely honest, the animation team make the hotel what it is, without them, I don’t think I would return, but we do plan on returning very soon, and look forward to seeing them all again! The bar staff were also great! Smiley was our favourite, super friendly, and always having a laugh with us! Food… I’m a very fussy eater, so I’m not the best person to review food, however, there did look to be plenty of variety each day, fresh pancakes each morning and fresh pizzas daily which were a godsend for me, I lived off them for the week! The rest of my family enjoyed the food and enjoyed trying lots of new foods! The waiters were all very friendly and helpful. They were constantly stocking up the snacks in the bar too, you couldn’t go hungry that’s for sure! The hotel went above and beyond on Christmas Eve, they did a cocktail party and disco early in the evening, this was great, the animation team definitely delivered with the entertainment! This was followed by a gala dinner, the restaurant was decorated lovely, with several different courses for the meal! The waiters worked very hard but remained super friendly throughout! The live band was great and played music to suit different tastes! Again, the animation team entertained too! The WiFi worked but it wasn’t always the best, however, we managed with just that and didn’t end up buying sim cards over there. Thank you HARI club for a brilliant holiday! And thank you to all of the animation staff, you were amazing and are a credit to the hotel!!!

1. Food = mediocre at best apart from the multi course Christmas meal which was great. 2. Ants! Not unexpected for this part of the world, but if the doors, especially the balcony door shut properly, perhaps that would make a difference. 3. Room = sparse and general storage in the bathrooms for wash-bag contents was non-existent. Having your bathroom kit bag on the floor is not the best start to a holiday. 4. Staff service = uncaring. (Bar-staff = doubly so; little evidence of enjoying their work or in fact to being there...). 5. Internet = crap in room, except at reception - best is to find a space in reception or buy a SIM card from the city (Carrefour is the best store for this) or, best yet is an eSIM initiated in the UK - cheap and very effective. 6. EasyJet excursions are EXPENSIVE. Same & better variety is available online or through travel shops in the city. 7. Hari club resort to city is about 6-7 dinar £1.50-£2.0) 8. The safe in the room:- need to repeat (cycle through) the written instructions twice. It doesn't say to do that, and a staff member had to be called out to tell that that was what was needed. What a wasted resource when printing accurate instructions would have sorted it. 9. The rooms: micro chalets is a better description, are sparse. Simple things like a shower shelf or somewhere to put the soap / shampoo would be useful. 10. The towels: a major towel replacement is needed. As they have passed their prime and were think & bare. 11. No tea or coffee facilities in the rooms: 4 star? Yea right. 12. Reception staff were friendly and helpful throughout; the dining hall waiters were not. APART from just 2 days before our departure when they seemed overly keen to help. A classic tip-generating tactic. I'd give them a tip: "learn your job and do it to the best if your ability..." 13. At the exchange rate during our stay 4 Tunisian to £1, everything was super cheap - Taxi to town from the hotel was £1.50... So I'm left flabbergasted that excursions via the EasyJet Rep were in Euros and VERY expensive. We took a taxi into town and straight to a travel shop: booked a private tour of things we wanted to see and in a private 4 wheel drive jeep. This was much cheaper than EasyJet prices quoted by the EasyJet Rep and private so no hanging about, multiple hotel visits for pickup & drop off and contending with a major crowd at all places of interest. 14. The beaches of Tunisia are beautiful; this is known. The beach at the back of the Hari Club Resort may have been beautiful once. Now at the end of 2024, it was disappointing. I wonder if it was the piles of rubble, rubbish, plastic bottles or general refuse that put me off. I'll never know... 15. All in all a pleasant stay and the magic questions: Would I come back to Djerba? Yes. Would I come back to Hari Club Resort? No.
