Was here for a 2-night stay for work. Free parking on drive of property, take care coming out, as restricted view of road. Greeted by Sigrid who was pleasant and provided good local information. Mini fridge and table on landing with snacks (need to pay for them). Also in fridge was fresh milk for tea and coffee in your room. My room was lovely with ensuite and seperate toilet (in room). Toilet was quite small (I am not small). Desk and chair to work at in room, as well as good TV. Internet was good also. The only thing I didn't like was that the pillows on the bed were not firm enough for me (personal preference). Lots of choice for breakfast (which was included in the price of my room) and the hot food was cooked to order.

This was my second visit as I was so impressed when I stayed here last year. Sigrid is an excellent and very professional host who provided a thoughtful welcome on arrival. I was given the same room as last year which is spacious, very clean and very thoughtfully and well furnished in every respect. A very good breakfast again, very good quality food for the cooked breakfast, homemade sourdough and cranberry bread, as well as homemade preserves and good quality coffee. No wonder Sigrid was awarded 5 stars again in 2024. If I am working in this area again next year, this is where I will choose to stay. By far the best bed & breakfast in which I have stayed. Absolutely first rate B&B. Hostess was totally charming and our room was immaculate with as was the rest of the house. Breakfast was definitely award winning and the marmalade was to die for all home made and breakfast freshly cooked. Would highly recommend.

We booked the Superior room which is spacious. There's a sitting area along with the sleeping area. We found the bed quite comfortable and outfitted with quality linens. The style of her home is serene and peaceful. Breakfast was individually prepared for each guest and fruit, cereal, etc. was also available. The homemade jams and compotes were quite good! Sigrid was a gracious host and we enjoyed our 5 day stay.

Stayed here in 2014, lovely then, lovely now. We remembered the name of the place and Sigrids amazing breakfast so when returning to this area there’s no other choice for us, glad nothings changed and it’s still a delightful B&B, clean, comfy, everything you need - this place gets booked up very quickly and we can understand why

Stopped here whilst working nearby, this is a fantastic little B&B very clean and modern, lovely warm friendly service. Great nights sleep and the breakfast was fantastic. Shall be returning next year! 🚒

Absolutely wonderful. Sigrid is an amazing host. Good parking. Easy to find. Lovely beautiful garden at the front. Rooms are fantastic. Spacious bathroom. Comfy bed. Brekkie was lovely too. All fresh and from local farmers. Made to order and brings out some toast and freshly home made jams. Would definitely recommend and stay again. and at a brilliant rate per night too. Oh and I love the little extras like water and an espresso machine out side your door.

Not only was the hostess very welcoming, but the room was also spacious, the bed was extremely comfortable, there was a large shower, running hot water at all times. We had a balcony overlooking the garden. Breakfast in the dining room with very good choices. Parking in front of the house.

The best B&B I have ever stayed at. The owner was incredible attentive and unbelievable kind. I could not recommend enough! The breakfast is a must try too. Fresh fruit and jam to go with a selection of breads before you pick from a great menu or homemade foods!
