Welcome to Roberta’s Society!
A cultural house with rooms upstairs, a cantina and bar downstairs, and a little bit of everything in between.
We’re housed in Aarhus’ old library — an iconic building from the 1930s. The charm’s still here; we’ve just added soft duvets, strong coffee, and a calendar full of things to do.
You’ll find us in Mølleparken, right across from ARoS Museum and just 0.6 mi from the central station. City Hall, the Latin Quarter, Botanical Gardens — all just a short walk away.
Stay in a private room, a shared dorm, or something in between.
Travel solo, bring a friend, or meet one here. Join a communal dinner, grab a coffee, and stick around. You never know what the day will bring.
There’s always something going on — screenings, talks, yoga, slow mornings, late nights. And down in the basement? Roberta’s Stage — a small space with a big heart. Live acts, low-key parties, unexpected moments. That’s what it’s all about.

This is my favourite place to go in aarhus and i cant believe how affordable and cheap it is in Denmark - the food there is always amazing and the facilities - the rooms are faultless and the location couldn’t be better. Its really great to have a hotel/hostel you can also relax at on a city break and they can be so exhausting and it still feels like your doing something here even if it’s just relaxing - staff are so nice

Excellent location 5 mins from city centre. Super clean, safe and friendly hostel. Lovely friendly helpful staff Excellent value breakfast and food and drink. Warm cosy clean rooms Scored a hole in one at the mini golf Would highly recommend this as a place to stay

Perfect hotel for your stay in denmark. Worth visiting Aarhus just to stay here as it’s. Gorgeous hostel amazing organic varied breakfast and Mini golf!!! Staff are lovely and make you feel at home. Great location for visiting all best spots and bikes provided by hostel! Really clean and great design dorms are very private and bedding and bed super comfy

Very nice upmarket modern hostel. The staff are friendly at reception but found breakfast staff in restaurant dull and not engaging. Shout out to the Argentinian male receptionist with beard( sorry didn’t get your name) he’s truly very genuine and friendly person and helped me with adaptor for IPhone. Very good customer service skills and stood out from his colleagues. The location is so central that you can see Aros from the hostel. I would have given 5 star but they fell short on cleanliness. Whilst the dormitory I was in (for 3 nights) was clean, no cleaning was don’t for 3 days and bathroom became messy gradually. Having said that I was out most day. I would definitely recommend this place. I booked this place through Airbnb.

Stayed at Book 1 for 4 nights in October and had an amazing stay! The rooms were very clean and quiet and the beds very comfortable. The staff were really helpful and friendly and were very informative about the local area and places to visit. The hostel is in a great location within minutes walk from city centre and has a lovely park and view of ARoS Art Museum in front of the building. The breakfast was organic and very good value for money with fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, muesli, meats and cheese, artisan bread and lovely fresh croissants and jam. There was also humous and vegetable sticks, tea, coffee and fruit juice! We tried the asian bowls which were really tasty and good value and really good portion size, great value food if you want to stay in the hostel to eat. The drinks are good quality and reasonably priced and the mini golf is a great addition! Had a great stay and would highly recommend and will be returning.

Amazing stay perfect room! Amazingly designed hostel and mini golf is a great extra touch that made for some family bonding time. Breakfast was such good value for money too and staff were so accommodating to my veggie needs :)

Stayed here for 4 nights and it was an amazing hostel. Super clean and lovely rooms with great showers. Breakfast was excellent and really good value for money. The staff were all so friendly and helpful and couldn’t do enough to make our stay enjoyable. The manager was really welcoming and helpful. The location is very convenient for Århus centre easily walk there in 5 minutes. We all had a round of the mini golf which was great fun. The Asian bowls are also excellent value for money. Overall a fantastic hostel and great friendly sage place to stay, would definitely recommend

Probably the best hostel I've been at, beds are more privat and it felt safer than most hostels. Only cons were that it was a bit too hot with the curtain completely drawn and that the bathroom floor got quite wet when someone took a shower.
