The location is right in the center so everything can be reached in a short while, and the rooms were immaculate, without a spec of dust in sight. I only removed a point from the amenities because the elevator for the even floors was broken, and while it was barely an inconvenience for me I felt a bit bad for the staff for having to let me go up. Also, be sure to bring your own lock for your drawer.
Good: Hostel location is great, very near to the Bolhao metro station, Bolhao market and St Catarina shopping street. Bed is enclosed with curtain, good privacy, feels more like a capsule hotel. There's a balcony viewing the garden with drying rack to hang wet towels. There's a garden, living room and proper kitchen which is great if you are staying with friends and/or want to hang out with other travelers especially in the summer.
Can be improved: Shower cubicles are very small and no separation for dry area. Barely any space to hang your clothes & towels and everything will be wet by the end of shower if you are not careful. Toilet cubicles are also very small with many missing proper buttons to flush. Generally the cubicle locks don't feel secure and you can see gaps between the door, so may be uncomfortable especially for women since it's a mixed bathroom.
Storage is located inside the bed cubicle. Rather small and you need to bring your own lock. Power plug is located at the foot side of the bed, so difficult to lay down and charge unless you have a long cable.
Simply one of the best places near Porto (Porto itself is across the bridge)! Clean, big beds, comfortable mattresses. You don't feel like there is anyone else in the room with you, as the beds are spaced apart. There is a common room, kitchen, fridge, you can cook your own food. Friendly hostesses called me a taxi at night and packed me breakfast to go. Will definitely be back!
First off as the street is in a terrible condition, but the hotel itself turned out to be good. Very new hotel, the room is small but very comfortable and thoughtful. Good shower and toilet. All furniture and clothing and towels are new. I think I was alone in the whole hotel. The settlement is remote, convenient, code-based entrance.when the street makes the asphalt cover and brings this area with old houses in order will be even better. Near the metro, bus, waiting station and bus station, there is a mini-shop next to. I'm very pleased to have chosen this hotel. I would like another glass in the room and a teapot in the kitchen. Then the kitchen was downstairs, but all the closets were closed and I would like to have a tea or coffee.
It was so beautiful and insanely good!
We stayed in a dormitory with a mix of 6 people. The room has a locker with a key, two separate toilets and two showers. The hair dryer is also very good. You can also use the shared kitchen and refrigerator.
The staff was very kind and helpful.
The hair dryer is not equipped in the room.
The downstairs bar is utterly noisy until 2 am, and you can feel the shake of the floor.
They provide u with a small taste if Porto wine.
The kitchen has nothing but a microwave to cook, so it is barely a kitchen
There’s no water kettle here.
The old man who is working as a janitor there and is also living in their 4 bunk bed is constantly very rude to Asian customers. So be aware. Could be racist, his own trauma, stereotypes, or simply anti-Asia. U can see he was smiling to other guests one minute ago and then scolding u in harsh language to u in the next minute.
Location is good enough.
The reception is only a place with frugal table with keys on it.
It was difficult to locate the hostel as it was a small door with a colourful poster (not eye catching initially) beside an Kebah resturant. Lift was the old sch lift but im glad it work with my heavy luggage. The staff was friendly, check in was easy. Room was awesome as i was the only 1 on the last day (4 bed female dorm). However a bit noisy along the corridor in the middle of the night at other rooms. Breakfast was cheap and simple, was being serve. Overall its a good stay and walking distance to every location.
Location is really good! I got off the subway station and got to climb some hills, but it was only 5 minutes away. The staff at the hostel was nice and helpful. Although the facilities were mixed for 10 people, the room was really spacious and the bed was very good. 10 people but never crowded. There is a dryer too! I have a locker and give me a locker key. Breakfast is just okay Bread cheese ham juice water coffee It's nice to have a rest outside in the morning. Ah, the Wi-Fi didn't go well in the room. Anyway, it is recommended !!! I'll be here again. And I thought I had a paid winery tour at the hostel, but it felt less organized ..! This is light ...

PPen-123The location is not bad, not far from the subway station, it takes about 5-6 minutes to walk, but the road in Porto is more rugged. There is a cafe on the first floor, which supports visa cards, but I failed to swipe the international visa card issued by China, but fortunately Google Pay can be used. Coffee, croissants, etc. are provided in the morning. The room I booked has a toilet and shower, and a small balcony where you can sit and drink tea, watch the computer or chat with others, or enjoy the sky when the weather is good. I stayed in the room for 2 days, and I prepared eye masks and earplugs myself, otherwise it might affect the quality of sleep. There is also a toilet and a washbasin outside the off-season. Although it is a bunk bed, the bed is not high, and it is not too difficult to get on and off the upper bunk. It just seems not very strong, and the metal bed sometimes squeaks. There are many people who come to drink at night. If you travel together, the downstairs also serves as a bar.
GGuest UserIn general it is a very good place to stay**** for a hostel, it is about 10 minutes walk from the Belhao market and the only drawback is that it does not have an elevator. Parking is easy.

GGuest UserIt was a rainy day when I arrived in Porto and saw a very sad city, but it was still incredibly beautiful.
Susana, the person in charge of the hostel when I arrived, was the best part of the stay, kind, smiling, she reminded me that, even on days like this, the sun is always there. I will definitely come back.
Recommendation: always bring earplugs: choosing a female room to avoid snoring is a dream. We snore too😂

NNiu niu isThe service is very comprehensive, free luggage storage can be provided in advance and after check-out, and the reception lady and brother take the initiative to help carry the luggage. The activity room and kitchen are very spacious and clean, giving people a feeling of home, and a rich buffet breakfast. The room is small, but very quiet and private.
