I had the best time staying at mad monkey siquijor. Nelson was amazing and took the time to know everyone's name and treated everyone like a true friend. Definitely give this man a raise! He was a whole vibe! The facilities are cleaned daily and all of the staff is helpful making recommendations or helping to arrange transport. Rooms were very spacious with hot water, AC, and privacy curtains. Highly recommend if you're on the island. Shout out to Pablo the accountant too he and all of the staff make this place so special! Thanks again for everything!

The location was convenient since it’s near to supermarkets/malls. It was clean and the bed was comfy. But my only concerns were the noises at night. It seemed they don’t have designated quiet hours for the residents there. I could hear people playing table tennis till morning. I didn’t have a good sleep on my first night and I had a nightmare when I fell asleep. It seemed my body was not getting the proper sleep it deserved after a long trip to that hotel.

The hotel is quite good, a bit difficult to find but the beds are comfortable and the each pod has its own fan and a little mirror area for your convenience although I wish there was a space for socializing other than that my stay was pleasant
This is a super hotel, so bright with a new renovation. But the most important thing is that the staff are very kind people who help with everything. Kent is a very nice guy, he booked us a queue for an excursion to the sharks at 5 am, we went to get the queue. Then we came back and went to bed. At 6 o'clock our turn came, we returned to the sea. He agreed that only the guys from our hotel, 8 people, were in the boat. We also rented a GoPro through him for underwater filming. And through the hotel we also booked places on a boat to Bohol. The location is excellent, 1 minute walk to the place where you can swim with sharks. The room is clean, the towels are snow-white. In general, I liked everything.
The yard has a beautiful environment, with grass and a bamboo pavilion. Walking to the backyard you can reach the seaside. The waiters are warm and thoughtful, and the service is proactive. You can also rent motorcycles 🏍. The room was neat and clean. There are chairs in the corridor to enjoy the scenery
Moon Fools Hostel is perfectly located at a walking distance from Alona Beach.
I liked its colorful upcycling aesthetics, friendly staff, and availability of breakfast and kitchen, in case you want to heat up something for yourself (just dont leave food around like many, as ants quickly come for things you didnt clean up). Hot and room-temperature drinking water available too (the water cooler didnt work).
In the room, the electricity plugs were useless as my charger was falling out all the time, so had to charge my devices in the common areas.
In the bathroom, however, no hot water in the men's part. Was instructed to use the female showers if nobody is around. But even if there was a water heater in their showers, water coming out was not warm either.
Be prepared to have 500 pesos for the key deposit, even if welcoming receptionist understood that it's my last days and that I would prefer to spend the money so she let me go with the responsibility to pay for the keycard if lost.
There are lockers outside of the 10-bed room, but you should have your lock.
Fot cheap street food, try Angel's Burgers nearby.
Location is convenient for catching a flight too, as the orange bus stops just in front when hailed, costs 30 pesos. Tuktuks would charge you at least 150.
The location near Dumaluan Beach is like a 10-minute walk while it's quite far from alona Beach. It's more on a quiet side compared to other hostels. The room was ok, it was clean and the bed was comfy. It's has great facilities like billiards and pool. The food was also great with big portions, staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, it is recommended and value hor money.

The location is great, it‘s very near the Plaza Independencia. Some staffs are nice, some were not so nice but it was okay. I just wished that they strictly implement a no phone talk inside the room where everyone is sleeping. The place was clean it‘s just that the staffs doesn‘t seem to be happy

AAnonymous UserThe room was clean. We arrived four hours before our check- in time and decided to drop off our luggage since we have some errands to run. The staff told us it was fine, and we were actually able to check in an hour early. They were incredibly accommodating.
PPEASHOOTSWe had a lovely time staying at GT Seaside Inn. The staff were helpful with booking us onto tours and booking the ferry to Bohol.
Rooms were clean and spacious with a very good air conditioning unit.
AAllanMy wife and I recently enjoyed a delightful stay at Katchajo Inn from January 1 to 4, and we found our experience to be quite enjoyable. The inn's proximity to the beach and the center, combined with its charming and clean facilities, made for a pleasant and convenient retreat.
During our stay, we were pleased to find that the service at Katchajo Inn was warm and attentive. The hospitable nature of the staff added a personal touch to our visit, making us feel welcome and well taken care of throughout our time at the inn.
The availability of free Wi-Fi was a convenient feature, allowing us to stay connected and make the most of our time in the area. Additionally, the presence of a mini-swimming pool provided a refreshing option for relaxation, adding to the overall appeal of the inn.
While the food was satisfactory, it was the inn's cleanliness and charming atmosphere that left a lasting impression. The reasonable pricing, in combination with the clean and cute ambiance, made for a comfortable and pleasant stay.
One minor area for improvement would be the towels, which, while clean, showed signs of aging. However, this was a small detail in an otherwise enjoyable experience.
In conclusion, Katchajo Inn provided a welcoming and convenient base for our beachside getaway. With its clean and charming accommodations, hospitable service, and added amenities such as free Wi-Fi and a mini-swimming pool, we found it to be a delightful choice for couples seeking a relaxing and well-located retreat. We would recommend Katchajo Inn to others looking for a cozy and convenient stay near the beach.
KKristina Ay-ayIf you’re looking for an affordable and no-frills place for a short stay, Aosmec Square Hotel delivers just that. The rooms are basic — don’t expect hot water in the showers, but the air-conditioning works perfectly and keeps the room nice and cool, which is a big plus in Cebu’s tropical heat.
What I really appreciated was having Netflix available for downtime in the evenings — a thoughtful touch for a budget-friendly spot. And let’s talk about the free breakfast: you get to choose between hotdog, corned beef, and egg, and honestly, it’s yummy and satisfying to kick off your day.
This is a great choice if you’re out and about during the day exploring the city or beaches and just need a comfortable place to rest at night. It’s affordable, convenient, and covers the basics well. Perfect for budget travelers or anyone needing a quick layover spot.
GGuest UserHello to every reader of the review.
First thing first, the hosts are amazing people Nic and Raquel who actually made our stay feels as at home. Nice talks and great advises during the stay.
Room is branded new, very clean and made with a care of hosts, who live the same room as anybody in hotel. So they’ve made it to cover all the needs. Large bad with great quality textile, slippers for shower, hot water and blackout curtains. A very nice common area, where you can grab a cup of coffee, to smoke or just to share the experiences with other guests.
You can rent a bike right in the hotel. It’s so comfortable, cause you don’t need to waste your time to find out better price or location any etc. you take it here and then just leave a key at the reception. That’s it.
Nic an Raquel has find a nice travel operator who provides all the activities among the island Cebu. We went for Whale sharks in Oslob and Sardines ang turtle in Panagsama. That’s was amazing. And the guides are so nice and friendly.
Location it’s the one last amazing thing. If you take a bike, you’re in the middle of everything. Lots of cafes, shops, great nature and snorkeling.
Raquel and Nic, thank you a lot! Anytime we’ll decide to come Moalboal, we’ll 100% turn back! Wish everything the best to your family! Thank you for hospitality 🤍

BBiboi CPMy third time stay in the facilities. Staff are friendly, the place is quiet. Unlike last time I had a really good cable connection but this time I only got 1 cable channel. But overall stay is still recommendable.
AAnonymous UserI had a good stay in the inn but I prefer the other rooms that I used before. Overall though, the staff are helpful and friendly, the place is quiet as well so will definitely check in again soon.
