Hotel Business travel di Niigata Prefecture, Japan

We stayed here for 1 night but unfortunately the aircon in my room was spoilt, we informed the hotel staff and instead of fixing they told us to live with it and tried to struck off the matter… seriously even though we stayed only 1 night we shouldn’t be treated like that

Our trip to Naeba was seamless. We booked our shinkansen ticket online, so we know what time we need to be at Tokyo Station. Prior to our trip, I've booked online via the hotel website their free shuttle. As I know that we would arrive at Echigo-Yuzawa slightly before 1pm and would not make it for the 1pm shuttle, I booked 1 hour later. No worries about spending time at the station, as they are stalls and shop to look around. At 2 p.m., the shuttle bus was there, and they took our names and helped with our luggage. Although it was early in the winter season, there were quite a few number of visitors on the same bus. The bus ride is about 40 minutes. Once at the hotel, we checked in and got our keys for our room in Building 2. As the ski lift closes at 5pm, we did not plan to ski until the next day. TIPS: This would be the best time to book 1 Day Ski passes online in advance (can not same day) as you save 1,000 yen per ticket. QR Code is available on the pamphlet given by reception or at the ticket collect machine area at Buiding 3. We booked a room for 4 people, 2 on bed and 2 on the sofa bed. The space was sufficient for us, albeit have to take turns to open luggage. Resort guest also are given 1 locker per room to store your ski gears. So it was easy for us to come in the morning to retrieve our gear and head out to the snow. As this is an old resort, do not expect modern furnishing, but it has what a hotel should have and we'll maintain in terms of cleanliness. It was still early in the season (we stayed 17-20 Dec), so restaurant selection is quite limited as most are only opening after 20th Dec. On the first day, one will need to spend some time at the ski rental store as everyone queue for their gear.

A convenient family resort hotel with swimming pool, onsen, ski rental, ski lesson and ski club for the kids. This is a ski in and out Resort for NASPA. The room is well design, spacious and complete with an Expresso machine. Convenient stores, coin laundry, vending machines are all available from within the hotel. The hotel is also conveniently located so you can drive to other ski resorts within the Yuzawa valley easily within 30 mins drive.

The value far exceeded beyond. I didn’t find it dated, all is well given the amount paid. It’s far far above expectations. Will stay here again when I next visit. The location is also not too far from the station.

The hotel is a good choice for small group of traveller. I am impressed by the low price and excellent hygiene of this hotel. The view is panoramic to the harbor. However, the air-conditioner sometimes does not work and we have to call the front desk to turn on the cooling for the room every other day. There is no gym room or facilities in the hotel except the lower floors of the building is indeed a famous art museum and exhibition or some sort. It could be interesting to visit the museum. Hotel in Japan seldom comes with gym facilities so I am not too annoyed by that.

Hotel do provide bus but time limited till 6pm. All staffs could not speak English so communication was an issue if you request something.

Very bad experience, my husband placed his glasses into the ski-googles packing box, then we go out skiing at the morning, when we back after dinner and hot spring at night. we found the packing box is lost in the room. But we surely haven’t brought it out. We asked the staff, the staff help to ask the cleaners, but they just said have seen it. So we lost the glasses mysteriously. And we haven’t found it at last.  My husband love this glasses very much and it lost unexpected in the room.

The room is older and has a slight smell. It is within ten minutes' walk from Bandai Bridge and within ten minutes from Niigata Station, which is a relatively suitable location. The price is super cheap and totally worth it.

Hotel is a convenient walk from the nearest bus stop, and it provides a comfortable feeling within the hotels itself. The buffet was delicious, and they feature daily changes on the rice to give an insight on the type of rice you can get from which part of their prefecture. Hotel service was great, and the comfortable night gown was a perfect touch as you wear it to call it a day when you sleep. Only thing is that there was no laudry facility in the hotel, but it was, in general a great experience.

The location is less than 5 minutes' walk from Niigata Station. It is located in a quiet alley, so it is very quiet. In addition, the breakfast is rich and balanced. In addition to rare fruits (tomatoes and strawberries), even the miso soup is full of vegetables. Excellent value for money, highly recommended. The nearby Hakusan Shrine is a famous place of worship for marriage, and the Bandai Museum of Art building can be climbed up to see the distance.

The front desk staff is polite, the hotel is conveniently located for dining and shopping, and the family room is spacious enough for children to move around. However, the bed sheets have a slight odor. Overall satisfactory.

First of all, it is quite close to Niigata Station, about 10-15 minutes walk. There are many restaurants or izakayas nearby, and of course there are also convenience stores. The front desk is on the second floor, so whether the elevator goes up or down, it has to stop on the second floor, which is a bit speechless. It was already past 7pm when I went there. When I arrived on the second floor, I found a lot of people gathered, all holding forms, and they seemed to be from Southeast Asia or South Asia. I thought I would have to wait slowly to check in, but later I found out that they seemed to be conducting an interview or something like that. Anyway, there was only one person in front of me checking in. After I finished checking in, they were still sitting and writing, and checking in only requires a signature. The room is not big, just like a normal business hotel in Japan. It doesn’t matter if you only stay for one night anyway. You can store your luggage for free after check-out the next day.

It's close to the station and convenient for sightseeing. There's also a convenience store on the first floor, which is convenient. The building may be old, but the interior has been renovated and is well-cleaned. The breakfast is delicious, and you can enjoy Niigata specialties such as sauced pork cutlet, hegi soba, and Tochioage. They also serve sashimi and seafood bowls for breakfast. As small eaters, we had to be very careful when choosing the food, as there were so many options that we couldn't finish it all. I'd like to stay at this hotel again.

It takes about 70 minutes to walk to Tokyo by Shinkansen. The exit on the first floor of the hotel is right next to the taxi station and bus station. The bus goes directly to Niigata Station. It is 25 minutes away from Xie Airport (the fare is 470 yen per person, about RMB 20), making it one of the best choices for business people on business trips.

You can contact the hotel for pick-up at the east exit of Echigo Yuzawa. Pick-up time is 8:00-20:00, the car in the picture There are several convenience stores near the station. You can take a taxi at the station to the hotel by yourself, about 1,000 yen, and drive for 5 minutes The hotel facilities are clean, and there is a hot spring on the 4th floor. Breakfast and dinner at the hotel can be booked one day in advance.

I love this hotel very much .The Location is very good it easy to Cary your luggage from station to this hotel.Aroud hotel have many restaurants.....from the Google map you will confuse about the distance. Please use West Exit it near hotel. The view in hotel suitabe to relax.

There is also complimentary shuttle service to the train station every 20 mins. If you are here for winter activities, there is also a separate storage at the basement for your boots, snowboard etc so you keep your room clean.

Staff service is very good, very professional. Ski rentals are available at the hotel, which is cheaper than ski resorts and other ski resorts. Ski tickets at the hotel are also available at discounts. There is also a special car transfer, when you see everyone waiting for the bus in a long queue, your special car is already waiting for you at the door, when it snows, feel warm. It is only a 5-minute walk to Yuehou Tangyu Station and 7-11.

Stayed here after going to Tangze skiing, luckily booked a room with open-air hot springs, which was perfect and the breakfast was particularly exquisite and delicious. The hot springs in the room are really different, enjoy the trip, just in time for the hot springs, beautiful can not be described in words.
